Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Greg came from a family of doctors and was expected to follow in their footsteps. However, with only one credit left to graduate, he left college, packed his car, and with just $3, headed to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. Despite initial disappointment from his family, Greg was determined to follow his own dreams.Over the next five years, he taught himself guitar, songwriting, and developed a powerful baritone voice. Starting from a restaurant kitchen job, he worked his way up to become a sought-after live performer.
